Initially setting their sights on breathing new life into the new Swedish indie rock scene. Great Park Avenue embarked on their first gig in London where they received an overwhelming response, quickly realizing that the London music scene seemed very familiar. Great Park Avenue look forward to play playing a part in rebuilding and expanding the revival of post punk after it's glory days in the early 00's.
The four-piece troupe consider their songs to be a call upon the blatant regard for any notion of superior taste among the wide range of everyday music connoisseurs. Within the impeccable strict grid of their compositions there is plenty of room for cliches and embarrassing references, and sometimes grotesque surreal journeys down the utterly ridiculous paths that most minds yearns to wander.
